Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of StrikeLab ("StrikeLab", "we", "us") covering the StrikeLab iPhone app and this website. By downloading or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use StrikeLab.

1. Who can use StrikeLab

You must be at least 13 years old to use StrikeLab, and old enough under the law of your country to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you, particularly the health and safety section.

2. Health, safety and your training space

StrikeLab is a fitness and entertainment app, not a medical service. Nothing in the app is medical advice, physiotherapy, or a substitute for a qualified coach. Consult a doctor before starting StrikeLab if you are pregnant, recovering from injury, have a heart, joint or blood pressure condition, or have been inactive for a long period.

Boxing movements carry a real risk of injury. You are responsible for training safely. Before every session, clear enough space around you to move, slip and step without striking a wall, furniture, another person or a pet. Keep your footing stable, warm up, hydrate, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. Never throw punches at anything the app has not asked you to, and never train so close to your phone that you can strike it.

You use StrikeLab at your own risk and you accept responsibility for any injury or damage arising from your training, to yourself, to other people or to property.

3. Camera permission

StrikeLab requires access to the front camera to detect your movement. Processing runs on your device and no video is recorded or uploaded. See the Privacy Policy for the detail. Make sure other people in the room know the camera is on, and do not use the app where filming would be inappropriate or unlawful.

4. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use StrikeLab on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple's App Store Terms of Service. This licence is for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app, reverse engineer it or attempt to extract its source code or models, remove proprietary notices, or use it to build a competing product, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

5. Free tier, StrikeLab Pro and billing

StrikeLab includes a free tier with selected Learn drills and a starter fight combination. StrikeLab Pro unlocks the full combination library, Shadow mode analysis, 1v1 fights, the Locker Room and the complete progression.

  • Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription at $34.99 per year or $7.99 per week. Prices vary by App Store region and may change with notice.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period end.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro features stay available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription covering the same content.
  • Purchases are made from Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by us. We cannot issue refunds directly, but tell us if something is broken and we will try to fix it.

6. Your account, rankings and fair play

Your progress and ranking position are tied to an account created for you in the app. You are responsible for activity that happens under it. Do not use StrikeLab to:

  • falsify results, whether by modifying the app, spoofing the camera feed, automating input or exploiting bugs;
  • choose a display name that is offensive, misleading or impersonates someone else;
  • harass other users, or attempt to access another player's account or data;
  • interfere with the service, its backend, or the security measures that protect it.

We may reset scores, remove entries from the leaderboards, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Rankings, seasons and scoring formulas may be reset or adjusted to keep competition fair.

7. Content and intellectual property

StrikeLab, including the app, its drills, scoring systems, artwork, name and logo, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property law. Anything you submit, such as a display name or a support message, remains yours, but you grant us the licence needed to operate the service, for example to show your display name on a leaderboard. You are responsible for what you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

8. Changes to the app and to these terms

We develop StrikeLab continuously and may add, change or remove features, drills or modes. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use StrikeLab after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using StrikeLab at any time by deleting the app, and you can request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the app in a way that harms other users or the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers

StrikeLab is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that punch and movement detection will be accurate in every lighting condition, space or camera position, that scores or analysis will be error free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Detection quality depends on your device, your framing and your environment.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost progress or lost profits, arising from your use of StrikeLab. Our total liability for any claim relating to StrikeLab is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Apple

This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for StrikeLab or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the StrikeLab developer is established, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing in this section removes the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts where that law gives you one.
